Brand new for 2025, the bakery cafe is excited to be offering housemade gluten free sourdough loaf pre-order and pickups. You may already know that we carry McGrath’s sourdough in the shop for your at-home toasting pleasure, but our house-made sourdough is entirely gluten free, offering a new scratch-made option for bringing home the bread!
Each week we will be selling a limited batch of loaves for pickup at the cafe. Our sourdough starter is used to make our delicious cinnamon rolls and serves as the foundation for our gluten-free bread at the shop: used for breakfast sandwiches, paninis, and toasts! Born out of a drive to serve gf customers a top-notch bread, our process thoughtfully incorporates the typical sourdough method with nourishing good-for-you gluten-free ingredients, sans gums and fillers. Crusty outside, soft inside, just the way bread should be. Each loaf is equal to about 10 slices. Check out the full list of ingredients:
Ingredients: Certified GF Oat Flour, Brown Rice Flour, Potato Starch, Tapioca Starch, Honey, Sea Salt, and Psyllium Husk Powder.
Due to baking capacity, there will be a limited number of loaves available for purchase on a weekly basis.
This bread is designed to be delicious as is- sorry grocery store bread, you’re not cutting it! Use it as a vehicle for your favorite go-to sandwich combo, or get creative: french toast, garlic bread, warm with fresh butter and salt… mmmm so many satisfying possibilities to enjoy!!
Our usual pickup time of Thursday afternoon/Friday morning sold out so this week we added a second time slot for pick-up Friday afternoon/Saturday morning. We can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to add extra slots every week so be sure to pre-order early to secure yours!
